About Us...
History
Dajisoft started in 1995 in Dallas, TX by Ali
Khan and Nayab Khan. Our first customer was an Irving, TX store Dry
Clean City (March 1995). We were the first Windows based
software for the industry. At that time other software companies
ridiculed the idea of Windows based software. By 1996 we had
sold only three additional stores. We exhibited DryClean PRO
(DCP) nationally for the first time at Clean '97. Our simple to
use product helped set us apart from competitors that were still
using old DOS technology. By the end of 1997 50 more cleaners
were using DCP. Since then, more than 3000 cleaners have trusted
us in helping them achieve their goals. Today, Windows is the
exclusive platform for cleaner software.
Present
Today we are still a small company of nine employees. Being
small helps us stay efficient, progressive and be close to our
customers. You will find our products also reflecting
these values and are designed to make you more profitable, be
efficient and deliver outstanding customer service. We promise
you the best customer service in the industry. We believe that
everyone of our employees should be accessible to all our
customers whether they are small or big businesses.
Future Directions
At Dajisoft we understand the importance of keeping our
products current. Some of our
innovations for the industry reflect these. We constantly
adapt technologies that make business sense to you. In front
store automation we're striving to make things easier and
mistake free. We're adding more creative marketing, and
reporting features into the software. In addition, we're also
constantly upgrading existing specialized areas like routes,
account receivables, multi store operations, and security to
accommodate your needs. For the back store (plant) operations
we're developing new ways to help you track each piece of
garment and in assembly.

"About me"
by Nayab Khan,
President Dajisoft
"I love challenges and I therefore love the dry
cleaning business since its one of the most challenging business
environment out there. Here is my brief resume ..."
"I started Dajisoft along with my brother Ali in
1995. However at that time we were small and therefore I ended
up working for Microsoft for several years. While at Microsoft I
was still connected to Dajisoft and advised them in both
business and development. In early 2005 I rejoined
Dajisoft and the business I so dearly loved."
"At Microsoft I spend most of my time as a
programmer in three teams. I started in database client team. In
1999 when .NET (aka URT at that time) was just being conceived
at Microsoft they put me in .NET team. In 2002 I joined GSA
which developed windows diagnostics tools. In late 2004 I left Microsoft to spend more time with my
ailing Dad. After his death in 2005 I decided to work full time
at Dajisoft instead of joining Microsoft."
"I'm very familiar with the cleaning business
since I've been actively engaged with a diverse set of customers
for more than 10 years. Actually I worry a lot about our
customers success and beyond our product, I also discuss theirs
and ours business strategies with them whenever I meet them."
"Going forward, I feel that we can help our
customers in so many different ways. Until our customers "the
cleaner" can sleep soundly without worrying about marketing,
mistakes, labor, theft, accounting, billing etc we have a
lot of work ahead of us."
