How does Prism Work? |
|
Prism uses bar-coded tags whether Prism-printed, pre-printed, permanent, or your POS-printed. These bar-coded tags are used for flawless and efficient assembly of garments, tracking, and final verification checks (see the Step-by-Step guide). For assembly, a computer-guided network of lights helps you assemble pieces accurately. This concept is easier to understand when you see it in action on the video at our website: Prism Aseembly Demo (requires Windows Media Player version 9 or newer). Prism allows you to put as many tracking stages in your store as you like. Individual garments are scanned as they go through stages, and Prism records this process. If you want to track each presser station’s output, then you provide each station with a bar-code scanner. This will give you a report of a presser’s activities and efficiency, which also enables you to trace an operator’s quality issues. You can find more information on tracking reports at: Prism Reports and Charts.
